From June 8-11, wine enthusiasts are invited to the heart of California’s wine country to immerse themselves in some of the finest worldwine Chardonnay and Pinot Noir at the third annual Chardonnay Pinot Classic at the Meritage Resort and Spa. All weekend long, the Napa Valley resort will host top wine experts for grand tastings and seminars paired with gourmet dining and tasting menus courtesy of the resort’s culinary trailblazers. There are less than three hundred Master Sommeliers worldwide, and with several panels and tastings scheduled throughout the weekend, guests will have the opportunity to learn from and sip alongside four of them in an intimate and almost classroom-like setting, where questions are encouraged. In honor of this year being the third installment of the preeminent wine event in Napa Valley, the event is taking it up a notch by pouring a couple of the rarest wines from Argentina, including; Catena Zapata White Stones Chardonnay and the Domaine Nico Le Paradis, both from world renown Proprietor, Laura Catena. The event is also set to feature 2016 Domain Nico Le Paradis, which is not only the inaugural vintage of this flagship wine, but the Chardonnay Pinot Classic will also mark the second time this wine has been poured at an event in the United States.
