Transcendence Theatre Company
International Cast and Creative Team of “Let’s Dance” Announced

Transcendence Theatre Company, California Wine Country’s award-winning, premiere entertainment experience, opens its 2022 season of original outdoor musical revues with LET’S DANCE, June 17 through July 3, at Jack London State Historic Park in Glen Ellen, CA. Tickets for LET’S DANCE and the entire 2022 season of shows are available now at www.bestnightever.org

Under the direction of acclaimed international director and choreographer Luis Salgado, LET’S DANCE reimagines some of Broadway’s biggest dance showstoppers with a thrilling infusion of Latin, jazz and modern movement to bring an exhilarating and unforgettable evening unlike anything seen in Sonoma Valley.

“My vision with Let’s Dance is to bring the flavor of Latin culture to Broadway classics and present a show that is bold, high-energy, and embraced by all,” said Salgado. “Broadway has been increasingly supportive of Latin culture as we have seen shows like In the Heights and On Your Feet on Broadway, and I feel audiences are ready and eager to experience a modern cultural twist to some of Broadway's most beloved classics.”

Salgado has assembled a cast of Broadway's best from around the country with a highly regarded roster of international performers that he has personally worked with for over a decade.

The LET’S DANCE cast features 10 performers making their Transcendence debut: Brianna Marie Bell (A Bronx Tale), Tanya De León (Somewhere Over the Border), Mariana Herrera Juri (Ragtime), Sophie Lee Morris (Dirty Dancing), Michael Nero (After Midnight), Manna Nichols (The King and I), Simon Pearl (Les Misérables), Dan Teixeira (Harmony), CorBen Williams(Cinderella), Emily Yates (Tony and Tina’s Wedding); as well as seven Transcendence alumni including Sierra Lai Barnett (42nd Street), Anna Aliau Guerra (Dabangg Reloaded The Tour), Kyle Kemph (The Company Men), Colin Campbell McAdoo (We The People), Meggie Cansler Ness (Wicked), Correy West (Ain’t Too Proud) and Catherine Wreford (42nd Street).

The LET’S DANCE creative team includes Luis Salgado (Director/Choreographer/Co-Conceiver), Matt Smart (Musical Director/Co-Conceiver), Amanda M. Stuart (Co-Conceiver), Mariana Herrera Juri (Associate Choreographer), Nick Perez(Associate Musical Director), Alisha Ramos-Epps (Production Manager), Jeffrey Porter (Technical Director), Christopher Annas-Lee (Lighting Designer), Nils Erickson (Sound Designer & Engineer), Brook McCann (Costume Supervisor/Props Coordinator), Julia Squier (Costume Designer), Caitlin Kellermeyer (Production Stage Manager) and Karen Webb (Assistant Stage Manager).

Added Salgado, “We have performers and creative staff from Puerto Rico, Colombia and Spain, all who are bringing their talent and life experiences to Jack London State Historic Park and we are mixing that with the talents of the incredible performers and creative staff that have produced ten unforgettable years of Transcendence shows. I invite everyone to dance, enjoy and embrace the experience.”

This non-stop evening of high kicks, foot stomps, and powerhouse vocals will rock the night sky unlike anything seen in Sonoma Valley before. Featuring songs from 42nd Street, Guys and Dolls, Wicked, Company and more, this brand-new evening of re-envisioned classics will open the door to Broadway to even more audiences. Once this show starts moving, you’ll want to dance—and sing—all night.
