A pleasant tasting experience offers a traditional wine tasting experience, one that is relaxed and never rushed. Winemaker Eric Luse carefully crafts small bottlings of Albarino, Viognier, Pinot Noir, Grenache, Tempranillo, Old Vine Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon and Port. Eric began his wine journey as a photographer for the San Francisco Chronicle. Fascinated by viticulture, he began taking classes at UC Davis to learn the fundamentals of winemaking. His approach to winemaking mirrors his style of photography, which is to let the subject shine through. It’s not about the winemaker, it’s about the vineyard. The philosophy of the Eric Ross style is to allow each wine to reveal the unique qualities of specific vineyards and their geographic location.
