St Francis 50th Annivesary Wine

Commemorative Wine Collection

50th Anniversary Sparkling Wine

Created for their golden anniversary, the 2016 Blanc de Noir is made in a variation on the classic style with the addition of Pinot Gris to the traditional varieties of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Aromatic Braeburn apple and warm brioche notes combine with a delicate effervescence to create a lively and refined sparkling. Bright and balanced acidity on the finish. $90, 750ml
50th Anniversary Commemorative Magnum
Etched, numbered, and signed by winemakers Katie Madigan and Chris Louton, the limited-edition 2016 Lagomarsino Estate Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon Magnum (1.5L) is an exemplary bottling of the winery’s focus on estate winemaking. In keeping with a 50th theme, only 50 bottles of this full-bodied Cabernet were produced. Rich aromas of black raspberry, aged balsamic, and chocolate-covered espresso bean lead into decadent bittersweet chocolate and ripe fig notes. Layered with cassis, roasted sage, and sandalwood, the wine culminates in a lengthy finish of dark ripe fruit and sleek tannins.
