Downtown Petaluma Celebrate Petaluma’s starring role in movie history. Filmed in 1972, director George Lucas used Petaluma streets for many of the iconic movie’s most memorable scenes. More than 400 classic American cars with hoods open and polished chrome sparkling in the sunlight will line downtown streets.  Free to attend, 10am-8pm,

Enjoy the showcase of Japanese arts and culture at Juilliard Park in Santa Rosa. Demonstrations of taiko drumming, folk dance and music, martial arts, Kyogen theater performance, and mochi pounding will be held throughout the day on an outdoor stage or the lawn. The festival will also feature Japanese art and cultural exhibits, clothing, food, children’s activity table, Japanese language booth, origami, and more! Admission is free. Fun for all ages.

Tickets to this event include entry to enjoy the live music! Our Front Lawn is an open grass area and does not include tables, chairs, or shade. As such, we kindly ask that you bring along blankets and chairs to make your experience even more delightful!

Food from the local food truck(s) on site will be available for purchase.
