Festival Napa Valley’s fall season begins with an Olivia Decker Power of Music Series performance featuring one of Franz Schubert’s greatest compositions, Cello Quintet, performed by cellist Eileen Moon, along with Polina Sedukh (violin), Florin Parvulescu (violin), Marcel Gemperli (viola), and Jonah Kim (cello) at Temescal Beach House in the Berkeley/Oakland Hills.

The afternoon includes a reception before and after the performance featuring wines from Miner Family Winery.

On Saturday, October 12, Wente Vineyards will host Jazz Festival in the Vineyard, a sophisticated evening of jazz, fine wine, and gourmet food. Enjoy live performances by multiple talented musicians while relaxing on the lawn. Guests are encouraged to bring a chair or blanket, as seating is first come, first served on the concert lawn. Savor delicious bites from various food trucks and enjoy a selection of wines, beers, and cocktails available for purchase.

For an elevated experience, VIP tables are available, offering premier reserved seating, exclusive access to private VIP bars, and a chef’s table buffet lunch. Don’t miss this harmonious celebration of music, food, and wine!

Experience our Sunday Series, a delightful 90-minute seated wine tasting experience set in our airy atrium, where you’ll indulge in a flight of current release Migration wines and accompaniments while enjoying live entertainment.

Following your tasting, we welcome you to transition to our designated lawn area, where you can unwind further with your favorite Migration wines available for purchase by-the-glass or by-the-bottle, all while enjoying lawn games (weather and hours of operations permitting). Food platters and snacks will be available for pre-order and day-of purchases.

Indigo is one of the world's most revered and celebrated dyes. The tradition of dyeing with indigo is over 3000 years old and spans the globe. To this day, it remains one of the worlds most prized and sought after colors and is still shrouded in mystique and mystery. In this class students will be introduced to the magic of working with this dye, and to the numerous ways it can be applied to textiles. Students will learn to make a simple vat which can replicated at home. Next, learn basic dyeing techniques on cellulose-based sample fabric, how to create a range of blue shades, and explore resist dyeing techniques. For some added fun, bring something from home, a t-shirt, or other cotton, hemp, or linen item. These items must be prewashed.

The experience includes a wine tasting of four Elizabeth Spencer wines paired with your creative spirit and artistic creation!
