At Bridlewood Estate Winery, our goal is to carefully craft distinct wines that are expressive of California’s Central Coast.  We know you’ve probably hear that before, so let us tell you a little bit about what makes us different.  Instead of finding a few tons of fruit that will simply just o, we take great pride in precisely locating the perfect Central Coast grapes to put in each bottle.  We lose a lot of sleep and are obsessed with getting each wine just right, or else Winemaker Matt Steel has threatened to make us eat that dark brown Australian vegetable past he loves so much.  That being said, we hold each other and our grapes to the highest of standards.  Each lot is crafter separately in state-of-the-art tanks and barrels from top cooperages.  No detail is left unnoticed by our expert hands—from vineyard selection to yeast and oak choices.  We are proud of the wines we make.   No visit to Bridlewood is complete without a stop at our tasting room.  We’ve created an intimate experience with plenty of room to relax.   Gather at one of our handcrafted barrel tables or savor a glass of wine by the fountain in our sunny courtyard.  In addition to daily tastings, the tasting room offers interactive educational programs.
