Downtown Napa has welcomed the newest expression of the legendary Robert Mondavi Winery with the opening of Arch & Tower this past August. Since 1966, the name Robert Mondavi Winery has been synonymous with warm hospitality and innovative winemaking, producing some of the finest Cabernet Sauvignon bottlings in the world from their internationally famous vineyard, To Kalon. Greek for “highest beauty,” To Kalon Vineyard and the wines produced from this iconic site in the Oakville district are the focus of this exciting project on 3rd Street. It’s also the new hospitality home for the next two years as the Robert Mondavi Winery property on Highway 29 is undergoing an extensive full-site renovation across all aspects of the business from winemaking and cellars to offices and hospitality venues.

Arch & Tower is located in the beautifully renovated historic Borreo Building along the riverfront. Made of stone quarried from the Soda Canyon area, this landmark site preserves its original architectural charm as Napa’s second oldest commercial building circa 1877, perfectly uniting Napa’s rich mercantile history with Mondavi’s pioneering spirit and vision. Here, a heritage of world-class winemaking meets modern elegance in an inviting space where guests can experience hosted wine and food pairings showcasing the best of the Napa Valley wine region.

Explore and Experience

A lucky handful of Napa’s cult wineries craft bottlings from To Kalon Vineyard so come explore each winemaker’s personal touch on this vineyard’s exquisite fruit in the To Kalon Collective Room. The dedicated space offers the opportunity to taste prestige wines from elite producers such as Schrader Cellars, Double Diamond, To Kalon Vineyard Company wines, and of course, Robert Mondavi Winery’s To Kalon Reserve tier wines.

Paying homage to the founding years of Robert Mondavi Winery, the Legend Lunch features the Estates Collection wines paired with a three-course tasting menu of 1960s classics reimagined for today’s modern palate. Ingredients are locally sourced and some internationally inspired but all will deliciously pair with Robert Mondavi Winery wines.
 $165 per person, 90 minutes.

The Napa Exploration includes a tasting of Robert Mondavi Winery’s Estates Collection wines and an array of a la carte bites curated to complement the wines, including seasoned waffle fries with house made ranch crème fraîche and local trout roe or red wine braised beef croquettes. Enjoy this tasting while relaxing on Arch & Tower’s outdoor terrace or indoors overlooking downtown Napa.
$65 per person, 75 minutes

Sip and savor Robert Mondavi Winery’s fine wines by-the-glass while relaxing on the River Terrace or at the seated wine bar during their Golden Hour tasting. Offered from 4pm-7pm on select days (check their website for availability), the wine bar also features seasonal bites from an a la carte menu.  Wines and bites priced per selection.    
Wine club members can reserve a tasting where they can host friends and enjoy a curated tasting from the Estates portfolio. This member-only tasting is complimentary for up to four people.
