Ledson Winery & Vineyard
New Assistant Winemaker Greg Gross

Ledson Winery & Vineyards welcomes Greg Gross to their production team as Assistant Winemaker. Greg’s personality and passion for making the best of everything he touches fits perfectly with Associate Winemaker, Justin Schuchardt and Owner/Winemaker, Steve Ledson’s personalities and core values. Greg brings a strong technical background from his many years with Artesa Winery as their Enologist.  “Each day I strive to achieve more with everything I do, and bringing Greg on will undoubtedly strengthen our already incredible winemaking team as we continue pursuing our goal of making exceptional wines with distinction year after year,” says Owner & Winemaker, Steve Ledson.

Greg began his production career as an intern for two harvests at Alpha Omega, spending 2016 in the cellar and 2017 in the lab. He went on and accepted the position of Lab Tech at Artesa Vineyards & Winery in January 2018, quickly moving up to Lab Supervisor for the 2018 harvest before being promoted to Enologist in early 2019.  “I have always wanted to work for a winery who grows most all their own fruit and strives for perfection in every bottle of wine, it was an incredible opportunity for my career,” says Greg.

Greg will assist Associate Winemaker Justin Schuchardt and Owner/Winemaker Steve Ledson with vineyard and winery operations.
