Fall Music Festival & Celebrity Golf Classic
Vintner and philanthropist Bruce Cohn is announceed that tickets are on sale for the Saturday, October 4 show of the wildly popular 22nd Annual B.R. Cohn Charity Events Fall Music Festival which will be held at the B.R. Cohn Winery Amphitheater, 15000 Sonoma Highway, Glen Ellen in Sonoma County’s Wine Country. Performers include festival favorites and Grammy-winning artists, the Doobie Brothers, who are not only managed by Cohn but over the years have sold more than 40 million records. Joining the Doobie’s are actor/ musician Kris Kristofferson, the Turtles (aka Flo and Eddie) who have played the festival in past years and comedian/magician Michael Finney plus more performers to be announced soon. “We are very pleased to add a second show. The charities need the resources more than ever,” noted Cohn. “And for music lovers and festival regulars we are thrilled to have Kris and Michael join us for the first time.”
Over the years Cohn and the Doobie Brothers have been able to raise more than five million dollars for various local and national charities and this year the events benefit National Veterans Foundation, Boys & Girls Clubs Valley of the Moon, Sonoma Valley Mentoring Alliance and the Sonoma Valley Education Foundation, CommonBond Foundation and many more.
Tickets are $95 in advance and are on-sale now at the B.R. Cohn Winery Tasting Room and at all Ticketmaster outlets. Special VIP seats at $325, complete with food and beverage service are only available through www.brcohn.com. VIP seating has been increased for both days. In addition, Cohn’s annual celebrity golf tournament returns to the famed Sonoma Golf Club and will be held on Monday, October 6th. Tee-off is at 11 a.m. The popular charity auction dinner will be held at the B.R. Cohn Winery’s 140-year-old Olive Grove, Friday, October 3 at 6 p.m. and will feature an auction of collectables, exciting trips and hard-to-get wine. Parking for this year’s show will again be off-site at the Sonoma Developmental Center soccer field, with shuttles moving people in and out of the amphitheatre. Doors open at 11 a.m. Watch for and follow parking signs at the approach to the B.R. Cohn Winery. Parking and shuttle are included in the price of the ticket. No beverages, food or lawn furniture will be allowed onto the grounds. Concessions and lawn seating are available.
