Andy Katz Photography Exhibit at Mumm Napa

Mumm Napa continues its tradition of world-class fine art photography exhibits with the opening of “Mixed Emotions,” a collection of works by renowned photographer Andy Katz. Set to be on display through September 9, the exhibit features photos from Katz’s recent travels to India and New Zealand, as well as many of his famed pastoral vineyard images.
Katz, who resides in Sonoma County, feels right at home in Mumm Napa’s prestigious fine art photography gallery. His evocative photos capture the beauty of nature’s minute details as well as the grandeur of Wine Country landscapes and the emotions of people around the world. He has traveled through Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East seeking subjects for his varied cannon of work.
Mumm Napa’s Fine Art Photography Gallery has featured the photos of many distinguished international and local artists. Visitors can sip Mumm Napa’s award-winning wines while wandering through the terra cotta tiled corridors of the two expansive galleries. It is home to a permanent collection of 27 Ansel Adams original photographs from the collection of his grandson, Matthew Adams. There is no charge to view the exhibits.
The winery and visitors’ center are located in Rutherford along the Silverado Trail in the Napa Valley and are open daily for tours, tastings and private events. Visitor center and fine art photography gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. For additional information on visiting the winery and its exhibits, call
(707) 967-7700 or access the website at www.mummnapa.com.
