Gloria Ferrer Sparkles
During Holiday Season
When Catalonia’s grand dame of cava, Gloria Ferrer, and husband José established the first sparkling wine house in Sonoma Carneros, they brought with them their commitment to world-class winemaking and sublime sense of Spanish style. A harmonious marriage of Spanish architecture and California mission design, Gloria Ferrer Champagne Caves is a soulful reflection of the Ferrer’s vision of quality winemaking.
The winery was inspired by the family’s charming 11th century farmhouse, located just five miles from their Freixenet bodega in Sant Sandurni d’Anoia, Spain. There, José’s sister, Dolores Ferrer, or Tia Lola as everyone calls her, lovingly prepares lunch for the Ferrer clan each day.
Her silky chicken soups and saffron scented paellas are legendary. But it is during the holiday season that Tia Lola’s dishes really shine, and everyone leaves the table filled with delicious memories.
This holiday season (and when you’re a sparkling wine house that includes Valentine’s Day!), Gloria Ferrer Champagne Caves invites you to make some sumptuous holiday memories of your own at these festive Spanish events in the heart of California’s Sonoma Carneros region.
