Oak Knoll/Stags Leap Day Trip Map

Spanning the width of central Napa Valley and encompassing both the  Silverado Trail and Highway 29, Oak Knoll may be a bit less known to distant visitors, but in no way is it less mighty than its neighboring AVAs!  Filled with manicured vineyards and many new wineries, Oak Knoll is an adventure in wine cultivation. Oak Knoll is known for its elegant Merlots, Chardonnays, Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir. Stags Leap AVA, situated along the southern end of the Silverado Trail just north of Oak Knoll, was the first AVA in the U.S. to be determined by the unique soil and terrain. Stags Leap produces world renowned Cabernet Sauvignon as well as other Bordeaux varietals.
