White Oak Vineyards
There are few places in the world as beautiful as Sonoma County’s Alexander Valley AVA. Situated in the northeastern part of the county, this AVA offers endless views of gently rolling vineyards and quiet back roads dotted with winery tasting rooms. Unlike other AVAs in the county, Alexander Valley boasts a lot more vineyard land than tasting rooms, making this region a bit off the beaten path. On this path, White Oak Winery & Vineyards is a sort of hidden gem about which you’ll be eager to tell your friends.
White Oak Winery & Vineyards calls Alexander Valley its home and this stunning Italian-style villa greets guests with its charming fountain situated just in front of their estate vineyards. It’s as if you've suddenly stepped into the remote Italian countryside – the location is quiet and beautiful, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of other, busier parts of the county.
Once inside the tasting room, choosing a tasting experience may prove challenging, because the winery offers several unique experiences. Everything from a simple wine tasting to food and wine pairing and/or a full-on lunch with a glass of wine, White Oak aims to please! Enjoy your tasting on the patio in the sunshine or step up to the tasting bar, either way you are going to enjoy the wide range of varietals White Oak has in their collection.
White Oak produces wines from both Alexander Valley and Russian River Valley AVAs, so their wine collection brings together favorites like Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir – two grapes that demand different growing climates. Making wines from vineyards across the county allows White Oak to offer nice diversity, and they even produce a few wines from Napa Valley!
• White Oak produces exclusive bottlings that are available only at the winery and via their website.
• Taste both counties! The wine collection is made from grapes grown in both the Alexander Valley and Russian River Valley AVAs, as well as a few bottlings from Napa Valley!
• Enjoy unique experiences such as private tastings, lunches and food pairings–please make reservations for these experiences in advance.
