Classic Tasting or Cave Tour & Barrel Tasting
$20 per person with WCTW mention – that is 50% off
Paying meticulous attention to their vineyards through sustainable farming practices, Keller Estate has for the past 20 years made it their sole focus to craft estate-grown, cool-climate varietals, resulting in a standout collection of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Côte-Rôtie-style Syrah and beautiful Méthode Champenoise sparkling wines such as Brut Rosé. All of their wines are of world-class rank and totaling just under 5,000 cases annually.
Breezes off nearby San Pablo Bay and dense fog masses flowing through Petaluma Valley provide Keller Estate’s 93-acres of vines and 30-acres of olive trees with a true, cool-weather microclimate. As of January 2018, this area is now formally recognized as Petaluma Gap AVA, due in large part to Estate Director and founders’ daughter, Ana Keller, and her push for years to obtain official status for the region as an American Viticultural Area.
Their wines are sold directly from the winery so an Estate Tasting for $25 per person is the only way to gain access to these small lots. Hosted in the tasting room or under the wisteria-covered terrace in nice weather, the seated tasting experience leisurely guides you through five of their elegant estate wines and fresh baked bread is provided to patrons alongside the winery’s beautiful estate-grown extra virgin olive oil. For those looking for a true insider’s view of their winemaking and viticulture techniques, opt for the 11am Estate Tour and Tasting for $35 per person. This experience includes a walking tour of the wine caves and production facility, all the while enjoying Keller Estate’s impeccable wines.
