Eos Estate Winery![]() Mention ‘Day Trips’ for a complimentary 2-for-1 tasting.
When Foley Family Wines acquired Paso Robles based Eos Winery, in the Fall of 2010, they moved the tasting room location three miles down the road to the corner of Highway 101 and Airport Road. The tasting room location wasn’t all that was changed. The production went from 90,000 cases to 20,000 cases with a greater emphasis on quality. Bill Foley had a vision to transform Eos into a big Paso red house.
Eos now offers a variety of bold red wines including a line of vineyard specific Zinfandels. With sister properties in other wine regions, the winery is able to demonstrate the differences between climates and growing conditions through their four distinct Zinfandels. While many of the wines have changed, the winery continues to produce the “Tears of Dew” Moscato and several dessert wines that customers loved. The winery even offers a Sweet Only option for club members and is committed to producing a number of wines on the sweet side. The Zinfandel Port is here to stay and that makes Zin-fans everywhere very happy.
The new location has many advantages in addition to being centrally located on Highway 46 East. The large tasting room includes a lovely gift area with plenty of fun items for shoppers, the covered picnic area offers wonderful views and is a great place to relax while sipping wine or to enjoy one of the winery hosted events. Plan a visit to experience the new flavor of the iconic Eos Estate Winery.
