Mount Veeder/Los Carneros

Mt. Veeder has been producing rich, Napa Valley wines since the 1860s.  Distinct mountain fruit produces wines that speak volumes about the rugged, labor-intense environments from which they spring.  Steep hillsides, rugged terrain and a surprise ancient seabed, violently shoved aloft by
volcanic activity eons ago result in vines that produce tiny berries and immensely intense flavors.  Just a few miles south of Mt. Veeder AVA, the climate changes dramatically. “Los Carneros” (the ram in Spanish), has long been known for its cool, coastal climate, natural beauty and  unparalleled Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays.
