Beringer Vineyard – Savor progressive BBQ bites and bold wines on Beringer’s historic property. Dance to lively music or kick back in the picnic grounds. Play a friendly game of bocce or croquet on the reserved courts.
Beringer’s historic estate offers various wine tasting rooms where guests can sample an unequaled selection of fine wines and learn about winemaking. Furthermore, the winery’s tasting room staff is efficient and well equipped to handle any questions guests may have about wine and can help them choose a wine that suits their preferences. With state-of-the-art technology and the experience of being the oldest continuously operated winery in Napa Valley, it is no wonder that Beringer Vineyards produces unforgettable wines. Come and see for yourself. Beringer Vineyards is located at 2000 Main Street, St. Helena, CA 94574; www.beringer.com. Call 1-877-847-0058 for more information.
Chateau St. Jean – Enjoy the formal gardens and sun-drenched patios as you sip house favorites Viognier, Robert Young Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Malbec paired with barbeque bites by the featured Sonoma chef. Listen to jazz and play a game of bocce or croquet on the lawn.
Chateau St. Jean is a “must-see” winery in the Sonoma Valley offering guests a true Sonoma experience. The Mediterranean-styled gardens are widely considered the most beautiful in all of Sonoma County. This elegant landscape with an abundance of exotic trees and flowers, combined with numerous water features, is the perfect backdrop to enjoy a fabulous picnic while tasting world-class wines. Come discover, taste and savor the many pleasures of the Chateau and the surrounding Sonoma Valley. Chateau St. Jean Winery and Vineyards is located at 8555 Sonoma Highway, Kenwood, CA 95452; www.chateaustjean.com. Call 1-877-847-0058 for more information.
Etude – Enjoy private access to the summer tasting patio with pulled pork sliders and a tasting flight of four wines ideal for summer entertaining: Pinot Gris, Carneros Pinot Noir, Deer Camp Pinot Noir and Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Live classical guitar music on the patio and bocce available on the lawn.
What began 25 years ago as a philosophical state of mind is now a state-of-the-art winemaking facility where the ancient art of winemaking is pursued with a singular passion. Founder and Winemaker Jon Priest believes that great wines are grown, not made, and that “inspired grape growing diminishes the need for intervention by the winemaker.” Etude is a Napa Certified Green Winery and Certified Fish Friendly Farming, too! Visit Etude at 1250 Cuttings Wharf Road, Napa, CA 94559; www.etudewines.com. Call 1-877-847-0058 for more information.
St. Clement Vineyards – Chill out and enjoy listening to blue grass on the porch & patio.
Words hardly do justice to St. Clement Vineyards and Tasting Room. Set high above the Napa Valley floor in an 1870s Victorian house, St. Clement is at once regal and inviting. The home itself was built in 1878 and is a remarkable piece of California Victorian architecture. Think period-appropriate paint, decor and details like carved arrows in the eaves to ward off evil spirits! St. Clement Vineyards is located at 2867 St. Helena Highway North, St. Helena, CA; www.stclement.com. Call 1-877-847-0058 for more information.
