VJB Cellars has decked the halls, packed the gift boxes and stocked the shelves for this holiday season of gift giving for the wine and food lovers in the family. The wine sampler gift boxes range from $105 to $245 and gift cards, good for tastings, wine or food purchases at the winery, are available in $25 or $50 dollar increments. To order: firstname.lastname@example.org or (707)833-2300. VJB is especially known for their small production, locally grown Italian varietals and “family-style” customer experience.
VJB wine gift boxes include: Italian Lovers (2016 Estate Sangiovese, 2016 Estate Montepulciano, 2016 Estate Negro Amaro) for $139; Maria’s Kitchen (Estate Olive Oil, 2016 Estate Brunello, 2016 Tocai Friulano) for $105; Cabernet All Day (2016 Dante, 2016 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, 2016 Reserve Estate Cabernet Sauvignon) for $245; and Famiglia Belmonte (2017 Gabriella Ranch Chardonnay, 2016 Natalia’s Blend, 2016 Dante) for $120.
VJB also offers Club Enoteca wine club memberships and Club Cucina food clubs that start at $85 per month. The prosecco lovers will adore Club Bubbles which ships a case of VJB’s beloved prosecco at 20% off, twice per year for $288 per shipment.
Recipients of gift cards can come into the winery to redeem their gift for an afternoon of wine tasting, wood-fired pizzas on the piazza, a full menu of Italian inspired lunch items, wine to take home, specialty pantry spices and staples and fresh cheeses as well as Maria Belmonte’s signature collection of her pastas and sauces.
The family behind the award-winning VJB Vineyards & Cellars has been recreating an authentic Italian experience in Sonoma County for four decades. The Belmonte family, originally from Italy, was in the restaurant business for years before opening VJB in 2003 as a loving tribute to their beloved son and brother Victor J. Belmonte who passed away unexpectedly. The tasting room today, created as a place for the community to gather and visitors to enjoy the bounty of Sonoma County, is reminiscent of an Italian piazza complete with refillable jugs of their award-winning Italian varietals, wood-fired pizzas, hand-pulled mozzarella and olive oil. In April 2014 the Belmonte family added VJB’s new brother winery, Wellington Cellars, to the family to rave reviews including a 96 Point rating, gold medal and best of class award at the L.A. International Wine Competition and the coveted title “Sonoma Zinfandel Winery of the Year for 2018.”
