Ultimate Winemakers Dinner, February 28

The Only Winemaker Dinner of its Kind!

 

What other dinner do you have the opportunity to taste up to 25 wineries, then choose one winery and sit down with the winemaker for a five-course meal? This is it! Join us for an elegant dinner and your own personal winemaker, all in the beautiful Shadowbrook Restaurant. Dinner will be prepared for you by local chef Ashley Hosmer.  

 

The 18th annual Ultimate Winemakers Dinner will be held on Tuesday, February 28. This is a rare opportunity to taste the fabulous wines of up to 25 Santa Cruz Mountains Winegrowers, and then be escorted to an intimate dinner. You will enjoy the outstanding ambiance, cuisine, and service of the Shadowbrook Restaurant, which is closed to the general public and open exclusively for the guests of the Santa Cruz Mountains Winegrowers.

 

You will arrive one half hour before your seating time to enjoy wine tasting and a silent auction in the restaurant’s stunning Rock Room Lounge. In the dining room you will be joined by one of our local vintners who will share their wines with dinner. The chef of Shadowbrook Restaurant will design a special five-course menu to accompany the wines selected for the evening.

 

Ashley Hosmer, a true local, born into a well-known and highly respected Santa Cruz family and a graduate of Harbor High School, has recently been elevated to the post of Executive Chef at the “World Famous and Local Favorite,” Shadowbrook Restaurant. Chef Hosmer is also a graduate of the California Culinary Academy and the Le Cordon Bleu Program. She has been employed at Shadowbrook for many years as the Sous Chef after having worked for St. Regis Hotel in Princeville, Kauai. Her predecessor, Chef Ross McKee, is leaving to take a position with a California based boutique hotel group with operating restaurants

 

This dinner always sells out far in advance. Tickets are $105 per person (for gourmet meal, wine, tax, and gratuity) Reservations are required. Sorry, the fee is not refundable after February 20.
