Sycamore Mineral Springs Resort and Spa
All About the Resort
What has made Sycamore Springs famous is, of course, the water. The springs are naturally occurring under the property and contain a variety of components which are absorbed through the skin and are said to provide health benefits. Ancient cultures, such as the Egyptians and Romans, believed in the healing properties of water. The word spa comes from the Latin phrase salus per aquae, health through water.
Some of the components found in the springs include:
• Sulfur – nature’s beauty mineral, said to offer benefits for hair, skin, nails and ease joint pain
• Boron – said to increase brain activity and strengthen bones
• Magnesium- said to promote healthy skin
