MORE WAYS to Experience Opolo
Estate Tour: One of the best ways to explore the vineyard is by taking an estate tour. You will view the entire estate from their beautiful hilltop, learn about the walnut orchard and newly planted garden (offered seasonally, weather permitting). Enjoy a flight of award-winning wines while you tour over 70 acres of Opolo’s Westside estate vines and learn about the process of growing grapes and making wines.
Wine & Cheese Pairing: Explore the magic of two culinary delights – wine and cheese! Delicious on their own, but together they can bring out the best in one another. Enjoy a seated tasting of five wines paired with specially selected cheeses, along with an accompaniment to enhance the “bite”; $25, $15 for club members.
The Distillery: If you are still up for adventure, and the spirit moves you, ask for a tasting in The Distillery! Recently put into operation, Opolo is now producing elite fruit brandy. Using traditional Balkan recipes, try one of the current offerings, like the Nocino, a walnut-based liqueur from Opolo’s own organically grown walnut trees.
The Inn at Opolo: When one day is not enough time to experience what the vineyard has to offer, a stay at The Inn at Opolo proves to be the perfect escape. There are three suites to choose from, which feature soaking tubs, showers, in suite fireplaces, and a made to order breakfast each morning of your stay. Also enjoy complimentary wine tasting and appetizers each afternoon.
