![]() Eos Estate Winery Eos Estate Winery is settled into its new location at 2300 Airport Road on the corner of Highway 46 East and is excited about what they have to offer in 2012. Owned by Foley Family Wines, Eos is proud to offer a variety of bold red wines as well as sweet and semi-sweet wines to its customers. In the New Year, they have released a line of vineyard specific Zinfandels. With the ability to draw from their sister properties in various California wine regions, Eos can demonstrate the distinct difference between climates and growing regions through their four different Zinfandels. The Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance Zinfandel Festival is just around the corner and Eos will be featuring an all Zin tasting flight, as well as a Zin inspired breakfast Saturday, March 17th, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Tickets are $28 general or $22 wine club. Call the tasting room to make your reservation, (805) 591-8050.
For the wine enthusiast who enjoys a sweeter palate, Eos just released a 2010 rosé. Coming out of the Santa Ynez Valley, this rosé will tickle your tongue with its zesty marriage of citrus and strawberry flavors. This wine was made specifically for our loyal customers who love such favorites as the White Cabernet, Muscat Canelli and Tears of Dew/Late Harvest Moscato. If you prefer a wine that can stand up to a stout cigar or a piece of rich dark chocolate, then the new 2008 Zinfandel Port is the perfect match. Mahogany and fig compote stimulate the senses while you decide if you want to enjoy the Port now, or age it. Either way, it will surely make you say, “Mmmm.”
Eos doesn’t just offer timeless wines, but also has a variety of event spaces. Two indoor spaces, a vineyard lawn and a covered pole barn complement the eight acres that Eos is located on. Keep them in mind for your next event, whether it’s a wedding, professional meeting, club event or celebration. They also have an on-site chef, Dustin DesJardins of DCS Catering, who can conjure up the perfect fare to enhance your event. Chef Dustin has a lunch menu available on Saturdays and Sundays that boasts made-to-order items such as Bruschetta, Veggie Orecchiette and Pouched Apple Salad with Pear Vinaigrette. Enjoy these specialties right at the bar, or out on our veranda while gazing at the rolling Paso Robles hillside.
Eos Estate Winery is a proud member of The Wineries of Highway 46 East, a coalition of wineries and hospitality partners along the eastern Paso Robles corridor. On January 14th from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Vina Robles Winery, Eos and the eleven other wineries of The Wineries of Highway 46 East will be celebrating the Spirit of Wine during their annual tasting event The Esprit du Vin.
