Clos du Bois Winery
The question we hear most often when visitors come to the tasting room is “How do you pronounce Clos du Bois”. While we have heard it pronounced many ways, we say it “clo dew bwah.” Located in Northern Sonoma County, Clos du Bois began with a vision of blending fine French winemaking techniques with the best Sonoma grapes to craft a range of balanced, approachable wines.
Known for making exceptional wines that range from fruit forward Whites, to Lightly Bubbled Rosé, to bone dry, bold Reds, we are happy to offer an array of wines to suit most everyone’s palate. But making great wines isn’t all we do. Since our inception in 1974, Clos du Bois has been a champion of sustainability. We’re especially proud of our solar initiative, which utilizes over 4,000 solar panels to power our winery almost 100%, the equivalent of providing electricity to 164 homes a year.
